Dancing Classrooms Philly Enroll Your Class

To enroll your school in our program, email us at info@dancingclassroomsphilly.org to request an application. Dancing Classrooms Philly program is currently available for 5th grade only. All 5th grade classes in a school must be in the program, which occurs during the school day for 10 weeks, twice weekly, 45 minutes per class. The classroom teacher is required to participate. Each school presents a culminating event for the 20th lesson, typically a performance assembly for peers and parents. Additionally, each school sends a team of 12 partners to the Semifinal

Competition. The winners of the semifinals advance to the Colors of the Rainbow Team Match Final Competition, held in the spring.

The cost of the program is $1,500 per 5th grade class. This represents about 40% of the true cost, which is subsidized by DCP. Many schools hold fundraising events or apply for grants to offset the cost. Some charge families a small fee for the program.
